Description

The process of acquiring oral and written language is analysed from a socio-historical perspective, using the concepts of Vygotsky and Luria. The question of appropriate consciousness in interaction with others, the brain mechanisms used to process oral language, and the formation of concepts that lead to the appropriation of the cultural instrument of recording, writing, are addressed. A relationship is established with the perspective of information processing, since the analysis of auditory processing disorder requires some concepts used contemporaneously to define what the ear does with what it hears until it reaches the central nervous system and specialised areas. Through a case study on auditory processing, we can get a comprehensive view of how a child is constituted in their interactions and how the other person has difficulties working with the processing alterations of the subject studied. We thus have a sample of the appropriations made within the social and cultural context experienced by the subject and analysed in the light of the aforementioned reference.
