Summer Blooms

A set of triplets, Hyacinth, Hibiscus, and Hydrangea, have their ordinary lives thrown into a frenzy when a strange man starts stalking them. Little did they know that life as they have always known it was about to change.

Summer Blooms, a beautiful coming-of-age story, is a story of love, pain and betrayal. It highlights a unique transition into adulthood that spans across three generations and two continents.

Truth Bakare has always enjoyed writing. She was the first runner-up of the annual Quramo Writers' Prize for the year 2023. Born and raised in Nigeria, she infuses culturally-relevant discourse into creative storytelling. Her writings include essays, short stories, articles and blog posts. Summer Blooms is her first novel. She currently works with CrewFinder Ltd as a Scriptwriter. Truth is a graduate of Chemistry from the University of Lagos.
