Birds of Denmark

Denmark is a delight for bird lovers.

It lies on the main migration routes between

continental Europe and the rest of Scandinavia. In spring and autumn, a massive migration of birds takes place, some stop off, some even spend the winter.

We would like to invite you to enjoy photographs of 130 of the most common (and some not so common) species that can be seen in Denmark.
