Description

Unseen Horizons is the inspiring autobiography of Dr. M.V. Shirdhonkar, who, despite losing his vision, transformed countless lives through his unwavering commitment to social service. This book highlights how inner vision and willpower can help overcome life's adversities, including physical disabilities. Through real-life experiences, it challenges perceptions, proving that limitations can be transcended to make a meaningful impact on society. Despite immense hardships, Dr. Shirdhonkar not only carved a path for himself but also paved the way for thousands of differently abled and underprivileged individuals. A must-read for anyone feeling lost, stuck, or discouraged by life's challenges.

About the Author:

Dr. M.V. Shirdhonkar was a sociology postgraduate, a physiotherapist, a rehabilitation counselor for the blind, and above all, a dedicated social worker who transformed the lives of not only blind individuals like himself, but also able-bodied individuals who were in dire circumstances. He was the co-founder of Madhya Pradesh Welfare Association for the Blind (MPWAB) among other national level organizations which did pioneering work in providing education, rehabilitation training, job placements and other initiatives for the visually impaired people.
