Surviving the Storm Within

As these feelings swirled around in my head, my own thoughts became louder and louder and an anger grew inside me. I cracked.

As I struggled to sit up, weak and fragile in my hospital bed, I suddenly began to yell and swear out loud. My brittle body looked like a stick inside the hospital gown, and my face was red with anger. A fire of uncontrollable obscenities spewed from my mouth like a dragon.
