Brianna's Shining Light

Brianna's Shining Light is an inclusive story about a little girl Brianna who has special needs and is starting preschool. Brianna interacts with her environment differently than her peers, and seems to be more interested in the glowing light she is holding more than any other activities or her classmates. "Why isn't Brianna playing with us?" the other children wonder. Some children even get upset with Brianna! Can Miss Smiley help Brianna play with others? After closely observing Brianna's favorite things to do, Miss Smiley comes up with a very interesting idea. Brianna and her classmates come together and learn that no matter what our differences might be, we all hold a unique light that once discovered, our lives begin to shine in the most beautiful ways.
