Sir Charles, Chicken of the Sea is a colorful picture book, written in rhyme and beautifully illustrated by the author's granddaughter, Sarah Brickwell.

This picture book tells the true story of a little orphan chick who wanders into a neighbor's yard and becomes a part of their family. Little Chicky plays and peeps so merrily and settles into his home where he grows into a stately bird. He even gets to join his family on vacation aboard their boat to cruise to Canada, and receives his royal and distinguished name: "Sir Charles, Chicken of the Sea."
