For Ornella Falkhund, this is only a minor annoyance. The Potentilla Heart follows the journey of Ornella Falkhund, who resides in the devalued Curiosity Row. She is struggling to keep her family's enchanted mirror shop open when her estranged sister, Belladonna Falkhund, returns to reforge the broken bond between them. After her sister is murdered, she becomes obsessed with destroying the sovereign dragons that were responsible for her sister's death. Her newfound obsession with revenge takes her through a series of deadly trials and salacious investigations. She finds herself reluctantly accepting the friendship of those she sought only to use to her advantage and falling in love with a mysterious man named Cyrilian Cligoni who is oddly willing to hide a body for her. Ultimately she must face the judgement of the dragons and the punishment that comes with interfering with their plans.
