Ella and her elementary school friends want to be financially savvy with money after their field trip to Pesa Bank. At recess, they come together and form a savings club and with the help of their parents and bankers, they open up custodial accounts.
"Ella The Banker" is a children's book co-authored by Liam Sprinkle (11 years) and his mom, Shamim Okolloh, a Little Rock based banker. Liam was inspired by his little sister, Ella, who dreams of becoming a banker like her mom.
The Sequel "Ella The Banker: Let Us Save" is an action based story that incorporates leadership, positive peer influence and early financial literacy.
