Amira could never have anticipated the turn her life would take after that fateful day in Medlar that first led her to Solaris. Yet after a harrowing attempt on her life, and before the pangs of loss and betrayal could fully fade, Amira finds herself whisked away from Solaris in the arms of a handsome, winged Fae to an unfamiliar realm: Obsidian. In order to survive this new unknown, Amira desperately clings to what she has learned-the mind and the heart are easily deceived whenever magic is involved.

With heartbreak and hatred shaping her path, Amira arrives to Obsidian fueled by a desire to avenge those she has lost and with a resolve to return to the family she left behind. However, she quickly finds herself embroiled in an interdimensional conflict that requires her to form alliances with a particularly annoying High Fae King and the court that wheedled their way into her fractured heart.

After surviving Solaris and a love that almost destroyed her, Amira must learn to not only trust others but face her hardest challenge yet-learning to trust in herself.
