Small Town Girl Big City Dreams

Small-town girl Ivy Ryan finally got her chance to move to Chicago when her favorite online magazine, Style, was hiring. When she doesn't land the job, she frantically begins searching for a job. While she is struggling to find a job, she keeps bumping into lawyer/nightclub owner, Vincent Barron. At first Vincent is only sleeping with Ivy, but as he keeps bumping into her. He wants to get to know her better.

Ivy doesn't understand why Vincent is so interested in her. She is just a nobody from nowhere nothing like the women he is interested in. Ivy struggles to make a life for herself in Chicago while pushing Vincent away. She tries to convince herself she needs to focus on finding a job and not dream about a life she can never have with Vincent.

Vincent refuses to give up on Ivy determined to show her, he doesn't care what she does. He only wants her. When he learns more about Ivy's life in Snow's Corner, he begins to understand why she pushes him away.
