The line between savior and destroyer was always thin. Aurora chose to become both. Among her people, she's a symbol of freedom. Among the plantation masters, she's a name spoken in fear. She is the Black Reaper. And when the rebellion comes, she'll feast on their fear until the world forgets their names. But power comes with a cost. And the darkness she unleashed on her enemies is rising inside her, threatening to consume everything she loves, including herself.

The First Umuthi is a dark fantasy about uprising, vengeance and freedom at any price. Aurora didn't come to save the world. She came to change it.
