In the mist-wrapped hills of Darjeeling, where prayers mingle with ancestral chants, a father's quiet life unravels as an ancient horror rises again.

John Rai, a humble school teacher lives with his family in in the rural sites of Mansi Gaw seeking peace-but peace is a stranger here. After a gruesome murder-suicide rocks the village, John's son begins vanishing into the night, speaking in voices not his own. At the heart of it all: a bloodstained namlo, a rope worn by generations of burden bearers-now twisted with something far darker.

What begins as a string of tragedies descends into something far more terrifying. Animal sacrifices. Possession. Ghosts that wear the faces of loved ones. The old jhākri, Maila Baje, warns of a forgotten war between shamans-one that never truly ended.

As the past claws its way into the present, John must confront the truth about his father's forbidden rituals and the monstrous legacy he tried to bury.
