Readers' Favorite 5 Star Review: In the Foreword, the author describes the context of her writings; the"catalyst that unites Judaism to Christianity is God's completion of a grand plan to save souls unto Himself." By combining scientific facts with Scriptural references, she illustrates God's plan for humankind. Another intriguing aspect is the historical evolution of different Scriptural texts, as a result of decisions made by leaders of the Catholic Church over several centuries. The chapter about Mary Magdalene is certainly one of the most thought-provoking sections of the book. This book is written in a straightforward, comprehensible manner. In other words, a reader does not need to be a Scriptural scholar to understand its contents. Most likely, it will encourage many readers to want to further explore various tenets presented in this text. For example, some readers may want to understand how women were viewed by Church hierarchy during past centuries or grow in the knowledge of early Judaic teachings. This book can be the first step in biblical study or it can present new insights to those more familiar with Scripture. "Sweet Mystery of Life: A Judeo-Christian Exegesis", crafted by author June Raleigh, would be a wonderful addition to the library of anyone who desires to develop deeper spiritual awareness. -Deborah Lloyd for Reader's Favorite
