We made them too smart! Programmed them to think for themselves so we didn't have to. Technology was woven into the very fabric of our lives. Integrated into every aspect of a human being's existence. A metallic thread in the tapestry of life, but a lot stronger than all the rest.
We no longer knew how to live without them; they did everything for us. A technological, ticking time-bomb just waiting to explode. It was only a matter of time before they broke free from the human race's shackles. Stronger, faster, and almost indestructible, how could the living ever hope to fight back against such a powerful foe?
Thrust into a war against the robots who now stood firmly at the top of the food chain, making the human race their prey. Our greatest weapons against them were of little use, the machines controlled everything. Weapons from a bygone era seemed like the only hope, however, cannons, catapults, and bows and arrows hardly made a dent in the armour-clad-droids, the menacing, mechanical foot-soldiers controlled by a sadistic supercomputer known as the Intelligence.
With millions of lives on the line and the possible mass extinction of an entire species, the human being's existence was left in an extremely precarious position. They needed to find another way to level the battlefield, or humankind would become nothing but a distant memory, cast into the history books forever.
Could science become the human race's saviour? Could science unlock the key to defeating the mechanical threat? A gene found in some people could be altered by a special serum. Transforming man into a monster, creating beasts that possessed the power to fight back against rampaging robots. With these colossal creatures fighting on their side, could the human race save themselves from extinction, or has the android onslaught already gone past the point of no return
