Chasing the Wind

The family saga begins in 1966. It chronicles the life of Sarah Mitola, whose journey begins in Montana as a Junior Girl Scout, while more than 5,000 miles away in Italy, her grandfather Giuseppi had selected his heir - Sarah. Only her ruthless family back in Chicago are scheming to take the inheritance from Sarah for themselves and for her younger brother, Christopher, by stealing her identity. Beginning with a false birth date, and later with a falsified social security number crafted by her uncle Silverio, Sarah did not exist. Not even on her school records. Her deceiving Venezuelan mother only submitted a baptismal certificate. Sarah's grandfather, Giuseppi, disinherited his children including Sarah's dishonest Italian father. Sarah's family are driven to keeping the trust money from getting to Sarah's hands.
