The Holy Spirit began to teach and reshape me. He made me understand that sometimes our mistakes, ignorance, inexperience, and emotions can cost us to lose people and not because they are betrayers or disloyal. He taught me that everyone we meet in life and in ministry has an assignment to fulfill in our lives. Some are meant to teach us how to rely solely on God; some are there to make us stronger; others are meant to teach us how to keep secret, how to let integrity preserve us, and how to let God lead us in all our ways.
He also taught me that not all those we start with will end with us. I therefore concluded that whatever people might put us through in life, being it pain, or gain, is meant for our good; because we will need every lesson we go through to grow. This means not everyone is the same, everyone has a weakness, and everyone has strength; so let us not focus on the weakness of people that cost us pain, but rather their strength that brings us gain. When we get to understand that we are stronger together, we will rather focus on the good side of people and embrace others.
Although some church members caused me pain, others brought me gain. Some have been loyal, faithful, helpful and a blessing unto the church and unto me. This means no matter what people might cost us, we will always need people in order to fulfill destiny and that is why God brings them into our path. This book explores why God created us in pair, what caused division among humanity, the need for us to come together as one people in Christ, and much, much more.
