When the heart of the sun is stolen, the world begins to die.

On the eve of the Festival of the Fifth Sun, Xihua-a farmer's daughter with warrior dreams-witnesses the unthinkable. Tezcatlipoca, god of darkness and sorcery, descends from the heavens and rips the beating heart from Tonatiuh, the Sun God himself. As the skies dim and the land withers, a dying high priest brands Xihua with the mark of divine selection. She is chosen, not to be sacrificed-but to fight back.

With only a scout's knife, a fading prophecy, and the pulse of ancient gods burning in her palm, Xihua must journey through a dying world choked by supernatural decay and cosmic horror. Pursued by demons, haunted by the weight of destiny, and aided only by a sharp-tongued companion and a dying priest, she must reclaim the sun's heart before the world falls to eternal night.
