As I am self publishing, I will leave the frist review I recieved for my book, thank you for taking the time to read it.
Nothing makes me happier in any written form. When the chapters are broken up. Not by numbers. But by ideals motifs. One of my favourite books of all time is written in 4 chapters. Starting spring, ending in winter. It's literally my favourite thing. And poems, your poems especially are subjective things. But that's just the written word. What matters to some don't matter to others. It was all just beautiful and poignant. And a little hard to read - our son never born. I didn't want to cry and i didn't. But f*ck in the wrong time and place I wouldn't want to read that. But with that being said. My favourite part was "acknowledgments" . Like you worked very hard to tell a specific story each time. Yet the acknowledgements and special thanks. Was fundamentally Mika, of everything in the book. Acknowledgements felt like it came straight from your mouth and mind. And no editing took place. Acknowledgements was the smallest of all the writings in that book. And it wasn't even a "writing" but it was my favourite. It's the one that I feel said the most about you in the shortest space. I love the whole thing. It just got more and more emotional as things went on. And then that big breath at the end. Left me with a smile I didn't expect.
