Daniel's warning goes unheeded. Brenda McNair, the host and star of the show, is trying to revive her career. Once an award-winning child actress, her career has barely survived her adulthood. Rod Givens, producer and director of the show, is about to see his dream of a hit show realized in the form of a deal to bring the show to a major network. Odetta Burke and William Howell, the show's resident psychic and parapsychologist fear being replaced by younger people.
