Zoology & Language Arts: Cross-Curriculum Science

This workbook was created to fulfill a need for my own family. As a passionate life science educator, I wanted to bring cross-curriculum learning to upper-elementary and beyond. This workbook is not a stand-alone curriculum. It contains zoology subject matter through copy work, repetition, real-world examples, and writing prompts. With opportunities to doodle and learn fun facts, students will be engaged as they:

• Use descriptive language
• Construct an argument
• Practice creative writing
• Record observations
• Copy examples of correct grammar
• Copy useful spelling words
• Group words into categories
• Improve handwriting
