Description

"New Principles in Theism 2025" provides a fresh take on the modern cosmological arguments as to whether a Deity exists who created our Observable Universe, and if it exists, our Multiverse. It can be thought of as an all-encompassing textbook or study guide for Theism, befitting the year 2025.

Regarding cosmological religious apologetics, the Author respectfully submits that modern-day theologians have been arguing with "one hand tied behind their back".

The problem in part has been that traditional, "old school" theism, teaches that God is a "Supernatural", "A-physical", "Immaterial", and "Transcendent" Being, who Created, brought into existence, and Prime Moved, the entirety of the cosmos (the natural, material, physical world).

Indeed, this is fine, and this work does not abandon this stylization; however, it should be understood that to convince a skeptic atheist in existence of a Deity in charge of the cosmos, it is actually better, and changes nothing (only adds - by freeing up thought and potential), to include a re-categorizing of God as "Natural", "Physical", "Material", and "Cendant"!

This book, therefore, and unique to others, redefines party lines to significantly widen the goal-posts so it is easier for Deism to reach its mark.

Moreover, the concept of actualizable (versus potential) infinity will be discussed, which leads to a new concept of manifestation of a Deity, even a Deity that can be Eternal, to meet the definition of today's monotheistic faiths.

This work, therefore, supplies a much-needed "origin" story for the Almighty, which is otherwise left as unexplained, and has been a great Achilles' Heel to modern religious apologetics.

A challenge, I think, is that this Work may be initially perceived as distasteful to many theists. Is the Author "selling out" the poetically majestic nature of God as being expressly beyond Natural Physics?

But, in response, again, by offering a proverbial olive branch to science-minded skeptics by embracing their worldview and language, it will be appreciated that the tactics used are simply necessary modernized tools.

A must-read for the scientifically minded atheist who is fed up with the old, tired arguments, or the religious apologist who specializes in cosmology, who wishes to greatly strengthen his or her presentation.
