In this collection of tales and legends, the author Dr Philippe Ewane, once again showcasing his captivating style, aims to pass on a piece of African culture to younger generations culture that is increasingly being neglected. This is conveyed through well-crafted tales and legends from various communities, particularly from Cameroon, Mali, and Niger. These are the tales and legends that our ancestors, grandparents, and parents, the bearers of our culture, loved to tell every evening around the fire or under the moonlight.
The author, like those who preceded him in this field, also hopes to contribute, in his own way, to the awakening of African culture. He dares to believe that the younger generations, for whom this collection is intended, will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a part of their culture and make good use of it.
Hats off to African culture.
