This book presents a speculative but sincere scientific conjecture. The Pratt Coherence Conjecture emerged from a lifelong fascination with both science and science fiction. I've always been inspired by thinkers unafraid to challenge the boundaries: Newton, Einstein, Penrose, and Tegmark, individuals who dared to ask new questions and reimagine the fabric of reality.

After working as an electrician for 20 years, and maintaining complex machinery for several more, I've wrestled with questions about overload, feedback, interference, system complexity, and energy flow. Combined with my love of sci-fi, science, and the cosmos, these questions became this conjecture.

Einstein once disrupted Newton's gravitational certainty, to the dismay of many of his contemporaries. Yet his ideas endured because they made sense, because they revealed something deeper. This conjecture follows that spirit, suggesting that coherence, not just quantum but structural and informational, is measurable, and governs everything from atoms to awareness.
