Bully

"Bully" Ray Wiiliams was born in 1944, into a crowded Queens home filled with noise, fists, and silence. One sister. Several brothers. And a father who never believed Ray was truly his. Abuse was a routine, not an exception. But his siblings had his back and his mother, quiet and kind, loved him fiercely, even if she couldn't shield him.

By sixteen, Ray made himself a vow: no one would ever hurt him again. No more beatings. No more fear. He was done being prey.

Now, after surviving Vietnam and hardened by war, Ray is a man forged in fire. People either respect him or fear him. His name is Ray. But everyone calls him Bully. Not because he bullies others because he never backs down.

Returning home, Ray finds Queens changed and not for the better. His older brother Calvin made a deal with the devil, dirty money, and dangerous men. Now the mob is hunting Calvin... and they've already taken his wife and daughters to force him out of hiding.

Bully doesn't care about threats. He only cares about family.

He'll tear through the city's criminal underworld to find them. But as he follows the blood-soaked trail, deeper questions emerge Why did Calvin turn to the mob? What secrets has he kept buried?
