Satsang - 15 Most Favourite Lamps of Shiva
From the words of Guru Shivram
Salutations with love,
The book that you hold in your hands - "Satsang - 15 Most Beloved Lamps of Shiva" is not merely a collection of devotional stories but a spiritual journey of enlightenment .
This is the story of 15 great souls who, through their love, sacrifice, and faith, have earned a special place in the heart of Mahadev himself. These lamps do not just burn, they give light - to us, to you, and to the whole world.
We call Shiva "Bholenath", "Ashutosh", "Mahakal" and "Karunamay" - but through these devotees, we see Shiva as one who is pleased with the devotion of his lovers, melts with their tears, and is overwhelmed by their surrender.
While writing these stories, I have repeatedly felt that devotion is not a language, it is a feeling; it is not a script, it is a life.
Whether it is the innocent child Markandeya, or the simple forest dweller Kanappa, or the learned devotee Adishankar - everyone's path was different, but their aim was the same - worshipping the feet of Mahadev.
" Satsang" does not mean merely sitting together, but being in the company of Sat - the true, the divine, and the beautiful.
In this book, you will not only read stories, but perhaps meet yourself, and join the flow of devotion to Shiva that makes life simple, and profound.
I, Guru Shivram, dedicate this humble effort at your feet.
If even one lamp of this book can kindle the flame of devotion within you, that will be the completion of my sadhana.
Om Namah Shivay.
May Shiva bless you.
Yours,
Guru Shivram
