It's been a roller-coaster ride of emotions-from terrifying times and violent life-threatening moments to incredibly funny ones. From struggling to survive to enjoying a luxury lifestyle and back again. A real-life game of snakes and ladders, but with significant consequences.
For those who simply enjoy real life drama then this story is certainly full of that. I guess you could say that it is a great terrible story. To anyone reading it, it is full of drama which makes for a great read but to me it's terrible as it lays bare my immense heartaches and disappointments.
A few times I have asked myself is it all true and certainly many times asked; How did I achieve that? So many difficulties, triumphs and disasters, near-misses and catastrophes, all packed into one ordinary person's life. As I put these experiences to paper, even I find myself asking; Surely it can't be true?
One thing stands more than anything else, this story shows the will and determination needed to keep going against all odds and the energy required to sustain effort.
