Maple Leaf is a witch, not the dark and brooding kind, but the sort who brews potions with a splash of gin, talks to her plants (who talk back), and insists on holidaying somewhere with strong tea and better gossip. So when she books a much-needed vacation in the desert kingdom of the Jade Feast, she expects foot massages and fragrant markets, not a brooding king in crisis.
Enter King Saragon: charming, stressed, and one evil wizard away from total ruin. His kingdom is under siege by a sorcerer so wicked even his shadow wears nose plugs. Desperate and down to his last enchanted curtain rod, Saragon asks Maple for help.
What follows is a whirlwind of magical mix-ups, questionable disguises, a perfume-obsessed desert trader, and one very stubborn camel. Armed with sass, spells, and suspiciously strong cocktails, Maple Leaf must save the kingdom... preferably before her holiday ends.
A laugh-out-loud fantasy romp with heart, hijinks, and just a hint of cloves.
