Their story continues:
Now happily married, Lee and Ludmilla were homeward bound on their transcontinental road trip. They were still exploring both the country and the depths of their love. Life, it seemed could not be better. Only it would soon all be upended.
Then their lives would be torn asunder by this man who had once seemed their benefactor. Ludmilla would be forced to do the unthinkable and Lee to endure the unimaginable. There was a true price in flesh to be paid for their happiness.
Nothing in life is certain. Triumphs, happiness, and even love are fleeting. All are but mere Trophies of Flesh and Ash.
