When Toby Jenkins blows his kazoo, the neighborhood knows one thing: it's time for the most epic game of hide and seek ever played. With a wild crew of kids-including a roller-skating daredevil, twin tricksters, a snack specialist, and Ruby (who may or may not be part banana)-the game quickly becomes legendary.
But what starts as innocent backyard fun spirals into chaos when a mysterious new kid named Kai joins the game... and is impossible to find. Toss in a creepy ice cream truck, squirrel spies, vanishing swing sets, and the return of the Retired Legends of Hide and Seek, and the kids find themselves in the middle of something way bigger than tag.
Led by Ruby, who communicates with squirrels and believes in banana-based justice, the gang uncovers a hidden world of sabotage, underground obstacle courses, and one epic championship run by their weirdest neighbor (who might be a retired hide-and-seek queen in disguise).
