40 Days: Of Comfort, Healing, Restoration and Revitalization

A lot can happen in forty days. The number 40 has always been a significant number in the Bible. In the beginning, after Noah built the ark, it rained for forty days. When an individual would fast, they would fast for forty days. Elijah ran from Jezebel and spent forty days in hiding. Moses spent forty days on Mount Carmel getting instruction from God. When Jonah finally went to Nineveh, the prophetic word was, "In forty days", the city will be destroyed. Jesus fasted for forty days. The people of Israel spent forty years in the wilderness being prepared to walk into the promise. The number forty always has significance.

In this devotional, I will take the next forty days to revive, heal, and renew you. I cannot guarantee that in the next forty days what you are going through will be over. I can guarantee that if you stick to this devotional for the next forty days, your life will be much better than it is right now. Together we will take the next forty days to heal from the pain of the last four years.
