Last Day of April

April Bishop's life has completely fallen apart. On the one-year anniversary of her sister's murder, April decides to end it all. At the last possible moment, she is stopped by a stranger, a boy she had never seen in town before. Content on still going through with her plan at a later date, she gets to know the stranger, Jason Lane. There was something about him that she can't quite put her finger on, but that feeling was clouded by an attraction she could not deny.
The more they get to know each other, the more she realizes that she knows almost nothing about him. As their friendship grows, Jason finds it harder and harder to tell April the truth, a revelation that would dredge up old memories and ruin their relationship forever.
When the truth finally comes out, she must decide if life is worth living, or if indeed it's the last day of April.
