The Treatise on Confessions by Evildoers and Witches is one of the most renowned medieval works on demonology and witchcraft. It was authored by Peter Binsfeld (1540-1598), a German theologian and bishop. The treatise is particularly notable for its inclusion of a hierarchy of demons, each associated with one of the seven deadly sins. Additionally, the text explores various topics related to satanic practices, such as pacts with the devil, witches' sabbaths, possessions, and much more. This is the first translation of the book into English.
