A final day in Florida and a chance to visit or at least skirt the Everglades before heading home. It was enough time to explore a region of wonder and primal beauty. A Ferox turtle laying a clutch of eggs on the side of the road, Red bellied turtles, large grasshoppers and cobalt blue Dragonflys. But the begining was the best, happening upon a couple of baby alligators just off the path. While this is just a taste, it is hoped the reader will enjoy the visit just as much as the author did and want to drink a draught of the Primal essence that is the Everglades.
