Description

1888, a Norwegian tale about Jack the Ripper is a graphic novel based on Jack the Ripper's gruesome killing spree in London during the fall 1888. The story takes the reader on a journey to the Victorian East End, where prejudice and hatred overshadows the Norwegian-born police officer John-John's investigation to find the murderer's identity. As the autumn nights turn darker the delusional serial killer finds his terrible purpose and starts his hunt for victims among the area's women. Who will be able to track him down?
Kiro Roskvist, born 1979 in Hagfors in Sweden, is a Norwegian ripperologist, author and artist. She has studied literature, intermedia and illustration. She is married with two adult children and lives in the small town of Lillestrom.
