Railroad Decay: Heavily weathered and abandoned American HO models

Welcome to a world of model railroad decay and abandonment.

In this book I follow on from the projects in my Railroad Revival book by pushing the painting and weathering techniques further, to create models of locomotives, rolling stock and buildings that have come towards the end of their working lives.

Many of the subject models themselves have also reached that status, being old, damaged and one step away from the trash can. With some imagination and the weathering techniques in this book, these items can be given a useful second life as additions to the scenery on any layout.

As with the Railroad Revival book, the subject models are all common HO gauge items from the 1960s onwards that can be acquired for bargain prices.
