This book originally started as a homeschool assignment for me, but I had so much fun researching dog breeds all over the world that I decided to turn it into a book.
But it's more than that.

My name is Astrid Powers. I was 10 years old when I first started writing books for homeschool assignments and fun.
I'm building a dog training business while I'm still in homeschool and have already trained my first dog Scout, a Labrador Retriever, to be a therapy dog.
I love all animals, but especially dogs and horses, and I hope to one day have a bunch of both on my farm.
