Men, We need a revolution and the revolution needs you! What does it mean to have courage? What does it look like and how many forms does it take? We've seen courage displayed by men and women who fight our wars, the law officers who patrol our streets, or the rescuers who brave fire, cold, or rising water to save lives. These forms of courage are more than necessary and admirable but there may be other types of courage that are also needed but lacking in our society. Recent generations of men have been lacking proper training and guidance which would help them be better at making decisions, getting along with others, and being responsible. Having courage does not just mean risking your life to stop a gun-wielding attacker in public but also choosing family over your career so you can be there for your children. That courage is necessary to maintain faith that God will provide for you even when you've chosen not to sacrifice family time to earn that promotion. Courage also means choosing to live according to Biblical morals despite what society tells you. Life is short and there's no guarantee we will live as long as some. As men on this earth we must choose to live in the here and now and make the most of the time we are given. The courage we display while we are alive will set the example for future generations. With the rapid decline of morals in our society and the increasing compromise of family values and godly principles, we are at a crossroads in deciding what choices we will make and what we will accept. It is becoming harder to hold to our Bible-based morals and standards and not face increased criticism but if we do not maintain courage, we will be ineffective in turning the tide and keeping society's decline from sullying the hearts and minds of our children.
