Ascent of Faith

After seeing his friend Believer pass through the river of death, Prayerful continually grows burdened as he sees so many pilgrims without a true heart for the King. When a messenger of the King visits him one night, Prayerful is given a special assignment to deliver Passionate for Truth's sword to the next one who is to bear it. Though he does not even know who is going to be the recipient of the precious weapon, he is determined to seek his Lord and complete his task no matter what. However, as he sets out on this new journey to Near-to-God Mountain, he has no idea what trials and dangers lie ahead.

In this sequel to The Journey of Faith, join Prayerful and his three friends, Steadfast, Gentleness, and Half-Heart, as they encounter new trials such as the Swamp of Self-Focus, the Fortress of Lukewarmness, and the infamous Roaring Lion. Will they reach their goal, or will fears, temptations, and discouragements pull them out of the way?
