This is a true story about the author's childhood memories of being bullied, laughed at and never feeling good enough to fit in. She was a shy, sensitive child with low self-esteem, and lacked confidence in herself from the beginning of kindergarten thru high school. Whatever she attempted to do, in the eyes of others it was never right. For years she camouflaged the real Della by pretending and trying to act like other girls and dressing in clothes that would capture the attention of boys. She transformed herself into falsehood, in hope she would be accepted by her peers. When told she would receive a failing grade in her 10th grade English class, she was devastated. Her teacher had a solution, but will Della accept it or fail? Unaware if she'd agreed to her teacher's terms, it could not only help her grade, but it would unlock a gift she never knew she had.
This small inspirational book includes the entire school years from kindergarten through 12th grade. However, I decided to seperate the elementary from Middle and High school by creating a Book 2 for Elementary, and Book 3 for Middle & High School. I hope they will inspire both young and old who never really felt good enough, pretty enough or smart enough. But, when Yah has a plan for your life though it can be a painful journey, trust Yah, it will all work out for your good!
