From Words to Wisdom: Bilingual Stories in Arabic and English

I am excited to introduce you to this new book from our series on learning Arabic through reading. As always, the book features bilingual texts in English and Arabic with full and precise diacritics, allowing you to pronounce the texts like a native Arabic speaker. You can use the built-in reader on your device to hear beautiful, smooth Arabic, thanks to the diacritics that many authors unfortunately neglect, except in Quranic texts. This omission makes it difficult for non-Arabs to understand Arabic texts, as removing the diacritics makes the text suitable only for Arabs or very advanced students of this enchanting language.

This book includes:

- Parallel texts in the form of a story.
- Arabic text in a different color from the English text to make reading as clear as possible.
- Diacritics in a different color from the Arabic text (similar to some Qurans) to help with focus. Unfortunately, colored diacritics do not currently appear on some e-book devices, so they are available in the printed version.
- No need to check the dictionary every time or search the internet.
- At the end of each story, article, or text, there is a complete list of the most important terms extracted and learned from the text with Latin transliteration.
- We have included the learned terms in short examples or simple contexts to clarify how to use them in different situations.
- A list of antonyms or terms and their opposite meanings to train the reader to connect two terms and meanings from one text without thinking or searching outside the book.
- Another list that usually repeats in all our books is the list of adverbs and prepositions because they are very important tools in forming sentences and texts. We extract them from the text and place the most important ones in short, simple examples that are easily retained with repetition.
- We have added Latin transliteration to some sections of the book to make reading easier, especially for beginners.

Important note: Latin transliteration is an additional option and a secondary means to facilitate understanding and reading. It is not a primary tool for pronouncing Arabic correctly and accurately, and is not at all a substitute for diacritics.
