Ricardo Suassuna, CEO of "Love Me Like a Dog Inc.", will be traveling across the United States, visiting as many states as possible to raise funds for these initiatives:
-Supporting Our Veterans:
Helping war heroes who have sacrificed for the freedom of all Americans to acquire service, support, or guide dogs. These loyal companions assist veterans coping with various medical conditions, including PTSD, blindness, and other disorders.
-Prison Service Dog Training Programs:
Supporting the Michigan Department of Corrections and similar facilities across the USA with service dog training programs led by qualified inmates. In partnership with organizations like Paws With A Cause, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Paws For Life K9 (in California), and local animal shelters, these programs train dogs for PTSD service, emotional support therapy, guiding, first responder assistance, or basic obedience. The initiative benefits inmates, facility staff, communities, and, most importantly, the dogs themselves.
Additionally, "Love Me Like a Dog Inc." hopes to provide each inmate with a free copy of the "Dog Treats Cookbook - Health & Safety", offering guidance on the care, nutrition, and health of their canine trainees, ensuring these future best friends receive the best possible life.
-Raising Awareness of Puppy Mills:
Promoting awareness of the suffering endured by countless dogs bred in puppy mills.
All proceeds from the sales of the "Dog Treats Cookbook - Health & Safety" will be dedicated entirely to achieving this mission.
