Switch Witch

THE SWITCH WITCH begins our tale as Plain Jane, the middle sibling in a family of holiday legends- Santa, the Easter Bunny, Summer, and the Tooth Fairy. Plain Jane is teased by her siblings for not having her own holiday work, so she goes about trying to ruin theirs, creating her own in the process. Typical for a middle child to feel overshadowed by their more dramatic siblings! There is always room for new traditions, especially for those families who love Halloween but hate the excess of candy, and the inevitable sugar crash after.

Contained within this picture book is the TRUE story of how the Switch Witch came to be. Have you heard of the Switch Witch? She'll trade you Halloween candy in exchange for a toy. But she's new to this whole holiday traditions business! So follow her rules if you want to join in on the fun:

The Switch Witch Rules:

1. She has learned the error of her ways! No stealing for her. She will only take what you leave behind, in exchange for one toy.
2. She can't read very well, so please draw her a picture? She'll do her best to get you what you want!
3. She's not as small as her sister the tooth fairy, so please, leave the candy near the front door?
4. Thank you for the candy! And don't forget to brush your teeth real good tonight, okay?
