Once released, a mysterious map he found on his last day of service sends him on a quest for what he hopes will be a great treasure. Instead, he is again joined by Rahn, who has escaped from jail.
The pair travels the kingdom following clues and forming an unexpected attachment. But will the young fox and even younger cougar be able to survive on their own, living as a fugitive and a recently released prisoner? And how will this all impact Randall's desire to move past his childhood?
