(Educational Piano Solo). This unique collection features 19 pieces by Eugenie Rocherolle (1936-2025) written in her nearly two decades as an exclusive composer for Hal Leonard. Divided into two contrasting sections: REMINISCENCE and DELIGHT, most of the pieces were selected by the composer herself. Her compositions were often inspired by her birthplace, the great city of New Orleans, as well as Paris and the beautiful French countryside where she spent much time. Although her publishing career began with choral and band music, her teaching expertise, combined with her pianistic instincts, soon propelled her to be one of the top educational piano composers of her generation. Two pieces - "Memories" and "October Swing" - were composed especially for this collection.
