Newspaper reporter Randy Wilkins and his boss, editor Ben LaRue have suspected for some time that the head county commissioner and his gang of thugs have worked tirelessly to convince the voters that their intentions were honorable, but they strongly suspect that ever since they have been in office they have stolen, bullied and killed people who have gotten in their way. But they haven't fooled everybody and now the newspaper will have to garner evidence to publish the truth to convince the citizens of their community of their evil intentions.
