How I Know He's Real

Eight-year-old Lilly Greene isn't a fan of Sunday school, even though she enjoys what Miss Claire teaches. Lilly has always been told that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, but she knows that is what God says of all children. She doubts Jesus's presence in her life, so she prays that He will somehow reveal Himself to her through His creation. After that, Lilly begins asking the people around her how they know Jesus is real. Her neighbor Mr. Robbins knows He's real because birds sing to him when he wakes up in the morning. Her friend Henry knows when he hears his baby sister laughing. Her classmates Abigail and Finn have their own answers-rain that makes the flowers grow and the way that each snowflake is unique. These are all helpful answers, but it isn't until Lilly hears His voice for herself that she knows in her heart that Jesus is real.
