Amen, Amen: Sixty Truths Jesus Emphasized

Jesus is the embodiment of truth. Everything Jesus said is true. So, when Jesus intentionally emphasized a particular truth as being especially noteworthy, it only makes sense for us to pay close attention to what he just said. This book presents a collection of sixty potentially life-changing truths which Jesus emphasized that deserve everyone's sincere consideration and response. The author did not choose which truths to emphasize. Jesus did. If Jesus deemed these sixty truths to be worthy of special attention, so should we.

On our lips, amen expresses agreement and approval with what has been said. On the lips of Jesus, amen conveys truth, authority, certainty, sovereignty, dependability, validity, and binding obligation. Therefore, on Christ and these accentuated truths, we are given a rock on which to build our faith, our lives, our destiny. Every "amen, truly I tell you" declaration by Jesus assures us that God's prophecies will come true, that his eternal promises will be kept, that God's justice will prevail, and that God's purposes will be achieved by his sovereign will.
