Country Lawyer

A few business partners are charged with conspiracy to commit arson after their mill burns in a small New Hampshire town. Heavy in debt, they are also suspected of a suspicious death. When a young and naïve defendant seeks legal counsel, he turns to a country lawyer with a reputation for winning trials. Mason Walters agrees to take on the case, but he finds himself in the middle of a complicated scam, wondering who exactly committed the crimes.
