Veiled chameleons, Chamaeleo calyptratus, are found in the Middle East countries of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Males grow larger than females, up to 24 inches in length but with an average between 14-18 inches; females average just under 12 inches in length.
